Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has never been one to mince words, and his response to a "Saturday Night Live" segment about his band's reunion is no exception.
For the Weekend Update segment of "SNL's" September 12 episode, Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson dressed up as Liam and his brother Noel to parody the brothers' notoriously tumultuous relationship and discuss Oasis's upcoming US tour.
After an X user drew Liam's attention to the sketch, the singer replied: "Are they meant to be comedians?" Ouch.

And it wasn't just Liam who was unimpressed by the skit. Despite it being widely known that the Gallaghers hail from Manchester in the North of England, Sherman and Johnson employed some frankly unidentifiable British accents in their performance — and this didn't go unnoticed by viewers.

This isn't the first time "Saturday Night Live" has sparked criticism since returning to our screens for its 50th season. Just a couple of weeks ago, a skit about Moo Deng and Chappell Roan drew fierce backlash from fans, who accused comedian Bowen Yang of mocking comments the singer had made about her mental health.
