People On The Internet Really Hate These Five US States
A pattern emerges when you ask people which states they never want to visit.

There are about 335 million people in the United States (as of 2024), and you'll find at least that many, if not more, opinions about the varied states in our federal union. While some people dream nightly about their next Disney trip, other folks would rather lose a leg than step foot in Florida.

Redditor u/doctormmamom wanted to see which states people actively avoid, and got thousands of responses. And while you'll find every state mentioned somewhere in there, some states got a lot more heat than others.

Whatโ€™s one US state you absolutely will never go to?

We dug through the responses, and picked out five states that seemed to have a whole bunch of haters. The reasoning for each of them is fascinating, but it's worth remembering that we're not all that different.

Your favorite state definitely has some real nonsense going on while there is surely some neat stuff happening in a state that you absolutely loathe.

As a kid I lived in FL for 9 mos. In that amount of time there was a hurricane, a tornado, I almost stepped on an alligator, and my parents split up. Needless to say, I'm not a fan.
