Nothing’s worse than checking the menu, only to see you’ve missed your chance on a limited-time item. But, how do you handle that, plus the sudden disappearance of your years-long favorite? McDonald’s… we have tried to be patient, but maybe it’s time for another round of food court trial.

The case? Seven fan-favorite menu items that went missing for various reasons. However, we’re willing to accept a plea deal if the defendant meets fan demands and brings these back sooner rather than later. Here are seven McDonald’s menu items that the people want back immediately.

The Grimace Shake

Released in June 2023 to celebrate Grimace’s birthday, this shake tasted like a blueberry muffin in the form of ice cream. A viral sensation at the time, a tailored version of this could've been made into a breakfast phenomenon.

The Szechuan Sauce

Originally a dipping sauce created to promote Disney’s "Mulan," it saw a comeback after being mentioned in an infamous Rick and Morty episode. However, not all of us got a chance to stock up and make $14,000 in the past, so we deserve a second chance.

The McPizza

This failed attempt to add personal pizza back on the menus in the ’80s and ’90s has since resurfaced in Orlando at their premier location. While the pizza is, well, essentially just pizza, imagine how much cheaper a DoorDash order could be when one of you wants burgers and the other pizza.

Fried Apple Pie

The original version of McDonald's apple pie has since been widely replaced by a baked version. Ask Whataburger fans, though, and they’ll tell you it was just a little bit over hyped.

Snack Wraps

Out of all the diet-fad foods of the time, this one left a heavy scar on the hearts of fast-food lovers. A light chicken wrap with a choice of sauce, this fan favorite has since seen a reboot among McDonald’s competitors who too, foolishly, removed this beloved option.

McHotDog

A failed attempt at selling hot dogs, this one just seems like it could come back guns-blazing, especially with some interesting topping options. It’s not like people go to Costco just for the cheap toilet paper — get on it, McDonald’s.

McDonald’s Holiday Pies

A sugar-glazed crust pie with vanilla custard, topped with sprinkles, this pie is the perfect dessert after a Big Mac and fries. They're releasing it again in time for the holiday season, but just in select markets. Why can't we get this back in the summer and have Christmas in July?
